Coming home this time of year it’s often after dusk has settled in. The Christmas lights seem to calm my thoughts of daily demands and transition me to life at home. I take off my coat, greet my family and pets and search out my slippers, (yes, reminiscent of our childhood Mr. Rogers) and enjoy the comfort of being inside around those I love the most. Emails, texts, calls and well, real estate can wait til tomorrow. And tomorrow always comes, thankfully. While the desire for Northern California real estate remains strong, inventory is low. Our newfound ability to work from home is making mobility and migration ‘on trend’ and finding comfort for our families in warmth and love is paramount. It’s with this trend that we wind down 2020. But as we enjoy the holiday season we start to feel renewed in knowing that January brings more opportunity, more buzz, more homes on the market, and more adventures. Here’s to 2021!
