As the holiday season swiftly approaches it’s important to remember what each day marks. Our Chico community comes together around the holidays to truly embrace and make the most of the season! This Thanksgiving and Christmas we are looking forward to appreciating our loved ones and giving back to our community, all while we soak up every moment with friends and family. The Ice Rink In The Plaza
The grand opening of the Chico Ice Rink is almost here!! Taking over the downtown plaza is a spectacular ice rink. The ice rink will open November 19th and operate until January 2nd, 2022! Certain weather conditions may close the ice rink however, the rink plans to be open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day!
The Stansbury Home Victorian Christmas
Come tour the newly renovated Stansbury Home to celebrate bringing in the holiday season! Explore this stunning historical home as you enjoy refreshments such as Hot Knudsen’s Spiced Cider, and homemade cookies from Bidwell Perk. The Tree Lighting Ceremony
This has been a tradition since 1978! City Plaza will come alive from the glow of the Community Christmas Tree! Enjoy a musical program, Santa, and the community in the countdown to light the tree in City Plaza!
