Mary grew up in Chico, surrounded by friends and family. After graduating from Stanford University and the University of Chicago Law School, she lived and worked in Los Angeles, employed in the entertainment industry as a writer and assistant director for NBC Television. She was also an active fundraiser for her children’s schools. While working at NBC, she discovered the creative joy and profitability of flipping homes. In 2009, when she was given the opportunity to manage her family’s commercial vineyard in the foothills around Mt. Lassen, she couldn’t resist. She learned about farming, making payroll, and managing a diverse group of workers and clientele. She loved producing environmentally responsible, premium quality wine grapes, but her greatest joy came from finding ways to improve the lives of her employees. For Mary, nothing is as important as taking care of the people who are counting on you. Today, she delegates daily management of the vineyard to a family living on the property and has returned to Chico and her long-held passion of real estate! Mary’s focus is on improving the lives of the people she has the privilege of serving. For her, being a real estate agent means helping clients find their perfect home. She sees the purchase of each new home as an excellent economic investment and a path to a new life.
