We thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite fall activities, pumpkin patches and fall recipes with you. So cozy up with a hot beverage and blanket and get ready to read about some great fall time activities you and the whole family can do!

Peterson Sister Pumpkin Patch has a great variety of pumpkins and decorative Gourdes. They also have family friendly games each weekend which include carnival games, and hay rides! After all those activities you will definitely work up an appetite, and you’ll want to stop and try some of their delicious treats which include baked goods made fresh from their pumpkins, along with pumpkin and apple butter, pumpkin pancake mix, and local honey! It’s located right off Bell road. This is a wonderful place to get your pumpkins for the fall season!

TJ Farms opens each year to the public for seasonal festivities, the most popular being their extraordinary pumpkin patch! Every year their goal is to bring something new and fun to the fall events that is fun for the entire family. There is always something to do. Families are able to take their kids for a wagon ride, have them sit on an old tractor, pet the friendly farm animals and play on the hay bales in the kids play area! So throw on your cutest hat and new fall boots and go visit TJ farms for some great pumpkin patch fun!

Book Family Farm is a local farm owned by Keith and Joy Book. Each year families are able to come to the pumpkin patch and have an authentic farm experience by feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, milking cows, and growing the family’s supply of organic vegetables! Book Family Farm is a great place to visit for a fun, educational experience. “At Book Family Farm we are concerned about our health and the health of our animals. We grow grass fed beef, pastured pork and pastured poultry. Besides growing healthy food, what we like to do best is to use our farm to teach both children and adults about real food. We teach everyone that, “it matters what you eat and what you eat, eats too!”
