I have always acknowledged that I work in a service industry but the recent Camp Fire disaster locally and now the global Coronavirus pandemic have awakened me to the gravity and responsibility of my work. Until you lose your home to fire or have to shelter in place do you fully realize the importance of your home.
The agents at Parkway Real Estate Co have been working tirelessly for the past couple of years to help their clients find a new place to call home. Recently we have had to make major adjustments to the way we conduct our business and find new technology and processes to safely guide our clients through this important transition in their lives. Each of us has to give our dedicated attention to our customers to fully understand the ever-changing needs in their home, which may now include working from home, schooling from home, adult children moving back home or the addition of extended family.
Through numerous virtual office meetings, webinars and constant communication from the California Association of Realtors we have learned to adapt to the ever-changing protocol for safely leading our clients. We have adopted new ways to communicate, market homes, conduct showings and inspections and process closing. Many of the new requirements gave birth to better ways of conducting our business and increased use of technology, like enhanced 3D and virtual tours, virtual staging, prequalifying all buyers in writing prior to each showing, and rigorous sanitation efforts.
The information that follows this letter is the first of a recurring series of local real market updates we will be providing to our community of clients and friends. We hope you find it useful and it finds you well!
