This summer simply feels better; It feels like summer when you were a kid. The simple pleasures found doing very little on a hot day perhaps in your bathing suit, eating an ice cream cone, or hanging out with your kids or your friends somehow rank better than past year’s big trips involving months of planning and high costs. VRBO is advertising family reunions for their owners and it is a smart ad! I just had the privilege of spending the 4th of July holiday with my extended family and I was awestruck by how much the kids had matured, how well everyone got along, and how little screen time I observed. The weather was even hotter than usual and the A/C broke in a cabin filled with bodies, but not one person complained of the heat!
